1 ) Novice pickleball player (New)
If you are a new pickleball player and have no prior knowledge about paddle sports then it doesn’t matter alot for you. You can choose any low profile pickleball paddle having low weight with a wide face.
But still the point should be noted, that no doubt wooden pickleball paddles are good paddles and can help you on the upper stage. The paddles made up of wood are highly not recommended from my side for beginner level and from my other players. The reason behind this is it;s weight and and beginner level pickleball players can not can not handle it easily.

Although, to become a mid-level player is not much higher than new picklers but at this stage you may think about changing the paddle. When I was here it means 3.5+ rating player then I feel that there should be improvement in my paddle. I sorted out my needs regarding the paddle and the idea blinked in my mind about improving sweat spots for better spin, enlonagated handles for better control and I did it. I helps me alot and you should also identify your requirements then go with it and It will realy matters alot.
(4) Proficient player (Advanced)
It comes after getting alot of experiences. The rating of this player is above 4.5+. It is the stage where the pickleball paddles matter alot means alot and make a difference. On this stage you will come to know that the use of proper pickleball paddle can improve my game or destroy it.
When I was at this stage I was clear about my weak and strong zones even though I was able to predict the hitting point of my shot. Due to that much involvement I sorted out my improverment areas and I found that it’s all about the matter of paddle then I created a checklist about that to improve my paddle durability is a materials after the weight influences swing, control, and power of my paddle (Lighter paddles are generally easier to control and provide faster reaction times, while heavier paddles can offer more power in shots).
